Requiem

The third-floor bedroom faces the direction of Mount Fuji.
On that wall, we have hung “Requiem” by Kuni Sugiyama.
When Mount Fuji is visible, we hope our guests will enjoy the view alongside “Requiem.”

Kuni Sugiyama and I worked part-time at Recruit during the same period.
He is an artist of the same generation who studied woodblock printing while studying abroad in Italy.
After he returned from Italy, we also worked together on a project for the Kids Earth Fund, and we have remained close friends even after he established his atelier in Kawaguchiko and moved there.
