Q.P.

I first encountered Shigeki Hayashi’s work, “Q.P.,” twenty years ago and was so impressed by an installation he had done at a temple that I purchased the statue of a philosopher wearing a spacesuit over a baby’s face.

It is a presence much like Yoda from Star Wars.
Incidentally, Shigeki Hayashi’s white ‘Susanoo’ became very popular at the “Pokémon x Kogei (Craft) Exhibition” collaboration with Pokémon.
